Visit to the Old Operating Theatre Museum and Herb Garret on 4th March 2004

Thank you so much for giving the students such an enjoyable visit earlier this month.

They really liked the talk and looking at the exhibits. It is such a fantastic setting and you have reconstructed it so well. I think they were particularly impressed by the 'mock up' of the amputation. The reality of this made them consider what it must have been like to be both a patient and surgeon during this period.

Thanks too, for all your help with organizing this date and welcoming the students.

I look forward to seeing you in May when I bring my next lot of students round to you.
