Imagine that you are living three hundred years ago.

After a lifetimes search you have just discovered a very rare herb, which will cure any known disease or illness.

No one else knows about this herb or where it can be found.

There are several things that you could do:

• Because there is not enough of the herb for all those who need it, you could keep quiet about it.
• You could sell the herb to very rich people and become very rich yourself.
• You could mix the leaves of the rare herb with leaves that look the same but have no effect. You would then have more of the miracle cure to sell and so make more money.
• You could give the herb to poor people.
• You could keep it in case you became ill and needed it yourself.
• You could try to split them to grow more, and hope that the ones that you have don't die
